Privacy policy

The short version

Simchora stores your planning data on your device unless an adult organizer chooses co-parent sharing. We do not sell family information or turn vendor plans into leads.

Information in the app

You may enter a child’s name, event date, guest households, RSVP status, honors, budgets, vendors, payments, and custom notes. This information is used to provide the planner. Avoid adding sensitive religious, health, financial-account, or identity information to free-text fields.

Optional co-parent sharing

When you create or join a co-parent link, the plan is encrypted in transit and stored in our Cloudflare-hosted database so invited organizers can update it. The high-entropy link acts as the collaboration credential: anyone with it can access the plan, so keep it private. Plans are not indexed by search engines.

Purchases

Apple processes in-app purchases and may provide us transaction status without full payment-card information. Apple’s privacy policy governs its processing.

Support and diagnostics

If you contact support, we receive the information you choose to send. We may receive privacy-preserving crash diagnostics when enabled through Apple settings. We do not use third-party advertising SDKs.

Your choices

You can edit or delete device-local planning data in the app. For deletion of a shared plan or other privacy help, email privacy@simchora.com.

Children

The planner is intended for adult organizers and is not directed to children under 13.
